Love the GKC quote, SP. Have you read much of his or mostly just the quotables?
This is one of my favourites -
"I did try to found a heresy of my own; and when I had put the last touches to it, I discovered that it was orthodoxy."
The book it comes from, "Orthodoxy", really hits home with me. It's all about the circuitous route Chesterton took in coming to faith, "I am the man who with the utmost daring discovered what had been discovered before."

I like this game...
"The poet only asks to get his head into the heavens. It is the logician who seeks to get the heavens into his head. And it is his head that splits."

The quote was given to me by my brother when I was last in Victoria. He is a huge Chesterton fan and has some of his original drawings!!!!
I am beginning to walk through Orthodoxy...
Another favourite:
There are two ways to get enough. One is to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
CHESTY!!!!!!!!!!
Good one, O.H.! That's one of my favourites, too. This is fun...
"A dead thing can go with the stream, but only a living thing can go against it." - GKC again
SP - I would love to hear your thoughts (good or bad) on Orthodoxy once you get into it.
