Want to Help or Must we Help?

Have you seen the news? Have you seen the picture from Haiti? Of course you have. I am reminded of December 26, 04 when a tsunami took the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and the world responded. Now, one of the poorest countries in the world (top 20) is hard hit by an earthquake. We are encouraging people to do more than just pray, but also give. Did you know that a person living in Canada making $36,000 a year is in the top 5% of the richest people in the world? I think you can afford to give something? (Ah Gerry, using guilt! No Silly, compassion)

Go to http://www.soulsanctuary.ca/welcome.htm make your donation using Paypal and anything over $10 will be issued a tax reciept.

Thank You

We are affliated with people who are already on the ground in Haiti. The group that we will give to is called ERDO(Emergency Relief and Development Overseas).

Since 1983 ERDO has served as the humanitarian agency of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
Responding to the need with kindness, compassion and grace, ERDO provides short-term relief in times of severe emergency, innovative assistance to families and communities experiencing extreme poverty, and partnership with communities to develop their God- given resources.

ERDO seeks solutions to poverty that are innovative, creative and address the real needs of the community with which we are partnering. The ministry of ERDO is truly global. At any one time ERDO is involved in over 35 different countries around the world. In over twenty years of ministry ERDO has been involved in the lives of thousands of people living with devastating poverty, natural disaster, civil strife, famine and disease ... the needs are overwhelming!
