When people walk the road together...you are not alone!
I could seriously talk about this five minute clip for hours! The comments it makes on religion, the comments it makes on how popular culture views religion, discussion on whether you need to go to church to be a believer, then the issue of consumerism when it comes to choosing a church, oh yeah and the issue of whether the pew concern could be valid (or about something deeper that is valid.)I'll pick this... I noticed that they attended a few churches before they went to the megachurch. The megachurch had elements that would make sense as good things in our culture. That is an extreme example but it makes me wonder where the line is. By the line I mean being in tune with culture and a place everyone can be a part of without being a slave to culture.
Are there actually churches like the megachurch? I can't help thinking of when Jesus forced the merchants out of the Temple.
I heard about a church in Winnipeg that has a cafe in it which serves Starbucks coffee/beverages. I think the tram transportation is being set up next year.....(JJ!) well, who knows.....
